Rocket Knight Adventures Initial Run/Quick Look

with 2 comments

Rocket Knight Adventures is this month’s game club and a highly regarded part of the Genesis/Mega Drive library.  Not only does it show off the hardware tricks that Konami was famous for but it’s also tough as nails.  Having never played it, Fred jumps onto his console (and with a web cam so you can see all his goofy faces while playing) to make a first attempt at conquering it.  Does he succeed?

  1. I’m playing this right now. Birthday fun with beer and a SEGA Genesis gem. What more can you ask for? I’ve actually been getting back into platformers and Metroidvania-style games like Wings Of Vi, Bunny Must Die, Valdis Story: Abyssal City, 20XX, and Terrian Saga: KR-17. Lots of quality thanks to the indie devs!

  2. Hmmm.. I wrote a pretty epic comment but I think WordPress ate it. I’m really getting back into the platformers, especially the Metroidvania style ones. Valdis Story: Abyssal City, Terrian Saga, Bunny Must Die, and Wings Of Vi all come to mind. Soooooooo many great games to play – YAY!
