This week we are honored to have marketing/messaging guru Bob Knorpp (@BobKnorpp) of the great marketing podcast The Bean Cast join us to discuss ad campaigns for video games from the past (and quite a bit of talk on today’s advertising as well).  It’s a fascinating discussion and you may want to reference the actual ads of the show here: https://gaminghistory101.com/home/lessons/ads/

  1. I remember seeing an ad from Sony not long after the launch of the original Playstation, which had Screenshots of Playstation games and the caption

“If you still want a Saturn… your head in in Uranus”

Here’s a scan of the ad I found online: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/45/85/c8/4585c87cfed60827077c433e770f169b.jpg
