Gaming History 101

Know Your Roots

GHX Ep. 22: Beware, I Live!

with 2 comments

We’re back (and bringing a Sinistar reference with us).  For this first returning episode, Fred and Trees kick off the new GH101/GHX hybrid with just the base name Gaming History 101.  Explanations are given to schedule (it’s weekly), format changes, and start testing it out.  Please let us know what you like and don’t like.  Also, fair warning, the episode is nearly 2 and a half hours long. It’s been a while.

Topics discussed:

  • 2018 game releases
  • Community Questions (Remasters, Switch controllers, Socio-political coverage of games, Explicit Content on podcast)
  • Mad Max (2015)
  • The Witcher (yes, the original one)
  • Trees picks a b-tier game for Fred to play

  1. Almost had tears in my eyes when the old iPhone 4s kicked on and a GH101 was in the feed ready to go. So glad you guys are back!!! I am winding up a new career this year over the road trucking, it’s my mid life crisis excuse to try something different. So I will be waiting each week. Keep em coming, and maybe if I’m in your neck of the woods, beers are me PhunkJunkie out!

  2. Switch is what Vita should have been. I wish Nintendo all the success, and I hope Sony feels the burn this time.
If only Switch had both analogs below the buttons, DualShock style…….
