  1. The original Mortal Kombat was never banned in Australia… we were buying it and playing it on our Megadrives back in 1993… bloodcode, fatalities and all…
    The 2011 reboot was banned for excessive realistic violence until the R18+ rating was introduced in 2013, when it was unbanned and classified R18+.
