  2. I have a different definition of nostalgia. In my usage, it’s “I remember [thing] fondly, because I remember [thing] being good……. because [thing] WAS good”.

    I love this definition with all my less than three, and will continue using it.

    And yes, I can proudly declare to not having love for anything objectively terrible.

  3. Guess it is time for some fact nitpicking, an activity I like too much.

    Silent Hill 4 was never meant to be a separate franchise. Or, rather, if it ever was, there is nothing to back this up. Based on available info, it was always going to be a title set in the Silent Hill universe, perhaps with no connections besides that. Early in development likely the number of connections great, to sell more copies obviously. But no matter what, The Room was always set in the same universe.

    Also, you never actually go to Silent Hill in the game.
