This week is more topical than anything. After Trees and Fred discuss their brief outings, there are discussions on porn (crypto and gaming), movies, and the 20th Anniversaries of Xbox and Gamecube. On the gaming front Trees is sticking with Voice of Cards and enjoying more Forza Horizon 5 while Fred is playing the new Magic: The Gathering expansion and Ghostbusters Remastered.

Horror video games are definitely abundant, but in the grand scheme they can be seen as somewhat niche.  As a child we used to think licenses would enhance games, which most of the time didn’t work out.  Fortunately it’s not all bad news for licensed horror games so Fred and Jam tackle the different titles that came out.

This week Lost Treasures of Gaming interviewed Ken Rogoway for not only his work on Ghostbusters: The Video Game but also last week’s game Rescue on Fractalus! (the Tandy Computer version) and many others. Here we play one of my favorite parts of the game, a rematch between the Ghostbusters and Stay Puft marshmallow man on the streets of New York.

Check out OMG Nexus for its other shows, including Lost Treasures of Gaming, and content!

This week Fred flies solo again and he’s celebrating his favorite songs from video game soundtracks.  The entire history of games is reflected from 8-bit and 16-bit to the glory of CDs and red book audio.  Kick back with a good time wasting game and enjoy a journey through gaming’s musical past.
